Just a quick update about some of the behind the scenes goings on here. We recently completed upgrading our website to use basic SSL, powered by Lets Encrypt. The internet is moving to this as a standard and we figured we should go ahead and make those changes. This feature is sort of in beta but seems to be working as desired. So if you desire to visit us via an encrypted connection you may use https://www.justanothergeekblog.com. Once we are satisfied with everything working our login and contact forms will default to SSL.
About The Author
Hey there, I'm Cort. I'm the main guy behind this blog. I am a computer and technology geek, plain and simple, occasionally I venture into other geek interests. Technology as a whole excites me and has since as far back as I can remember. I have a passion computers and the internet and am quite knowledgeable in that area. However, I am not an IT industry guy, although I have had some success as a Home/SOHO IT consultant and tech, which is kinda my side gig. My primary profession is Logistics Specialist in the United States Navy. I also enjoy Movies, Television, and Booze.
